The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of local festival experience on visitor``s satisfaction and loyalty. This study survey was conducted from October 19 to 28, 2012 during the 4th Gangneung Coffee Festival period and total 196 useful samples were collected from visit. SEM using AMOS 18.0 was adopted to test research hypotheses. Research findings revealed that there were positive relationships between local festival experience and satisfaction. And satisfaction showed a positive effect on loyalty. The implication concerning this study is as followings. First, it means that having an effect on satisfaction with a festival stems from the experience of various and discriminated program and the experience of learning opportunity provision, other than existing other ones. The result hints that various, discriminated, and educational experience takes an important role in Gangreung Coffee Festival. Second, for the purpose of making a plan of festival strategy discriminated from other ones, tourists have to develop a variety of programs, appropriate to tourists`` desires, that tourists can experience in sites by themselves. Through the type of programs, it is necessary to stimulate and induce tourists`` sensation and to help them feel that it is a special and attractive festival. Third, It is necessary to simulate potential visitors`` desires as well as repeated visitors`` desires and to create tourist demand afterwards.
