This study aims at evaluating Busan`s profile as a shopping tourism destination based on tourists` perception. For the purpose, the researchers examined tourists` perception of the attributes in the shopping tourism destination in terms of importance and satisfaction. Results show that importance was found in the descending order of trust in commodities, availability of wanted commodities, convenience in transportation, fair price of commodities, and maintenance of public order. Performance was found in the descending order of easy accessibility, convenience in transportation, festivals other than shopping tourism, an assortment of commodities, and trust in commodities. The Importance-Performance Analysis identified the strengths and weaknesses of Busan as a shopping tourism destination. The results also provide information as to how Busan may elevate its prestige among shopping tourists.
