The purpose of this study is to investigate the differentiation between importance and performance of foreign exhibitor`s objectives and choice attributes at international trade fairs in Korea. Trade fair is the ideal medium for the transfer of the corporate culture corporate identity and corporate design of a company. There is no debate as to the place of trade fairs in city and regional economic development. It generates local income employment and output and increases the volume of economic activity occurring locally. This research endeavors to identify the Korean trade fair participation of foreign exhibitors using IPA and its implication toward the development of Korean trade fair industry. The key findings are; a) the foreign exhibitors evaluate the performance of participation at Korean exhibitions much lower than they expected b) from the result of IPA about the exhibition choice attributes the Korean exhibitions have to be improved the acquisition of trade visitors and global enterprises that affect the quality and success of Korean exhibitions. After discussing some of the problems of objectives choice attributes of participating Korean exhibitions the solution for Korean trade fair organizers industry and policy related with trade fairs are given. The result could be used to set up the new concepts and plans for the government as well are given.
