The objective of this research is to investigate the effects of accounting information presentation format and the personality of decesion makers in the performance in decisions. In this research, accounting information presentation format and the personality of decision makers are two independent variabes. And the performance in decisions is a dependent variable. A laboratory experimentation was conducted to achieve the purpose of this research. One hundred and eighty subjects were randomly assigned to one of six experimental treatment groups. In experimental design the presentation format variable has three levels (table/graph/color), the personality has two levels(low tolerance/high tolerance). The level of personality is measured by tolerance for ambiguity test. For the data analysis, a two-way analysis of variance was used. The results of this research are summarized as follows : First, there was a significant difference among the group of decision makers with table format, the group of decision makers with graph format and the group of decision makers with color format in terms of the performance in decisions. Second, the group of decision makers with low tolerance for ambiguity showed higher prediction accuracy than the group of decision makers with high tolerance for ambiguity in terms of the performance in decisions. Third, there was no interaction effect between the accountion information presentation format and the personality of decision makers in terms of the performance in decisions. The result of this research enables us to make accounting information system considering accounting information and the personality of decision makers.
