In ROK Army, quantitative analysis using wargame model is used to support critical decision-making problem, including the force investment project. But the effort to ensure the validity of the result was insufficient. In this study, factors to impede the validity of analysis results using wargame model are reviewed and development plans for the resolution are suggested. Main proposed plans are active participation of external departments / agencies to improve the validity, comprehensive check for validity of operating wargame model , establishment of the standard model operating system, development and application of practical combat simulation logic and reinforcement of M&S-related educations and outreach activities.
