Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, China's foreign policy has undergone some of changes: Deng Xiaoping's foreign policy of 'Tao Guang Yang Hui, You Suo Zuo Wei(韬光养晦, 有所作为)', Jiang Zemin's 'New Security Concept(新安全觀)', and Hu Jintao's 'Harmonic World(和諧世界)'.
First, this research attempts to elucidate the relationship between Jiang's 'New Security Concept' and Hu's 'Harmonic World'. Then, this paper deeply analyzes change and continuity between the two ideologies, and explores strategic intentions of China's foreign policy change.
