This study, using the 5th to 7th wave data of Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC), is to investigate how young children’s problem behaviors have changed over years and have been affected by young children’s personal and parental variables. Young children’s problem behaviors were selected from the fifth wave data of PSKC, whereas young children’s personal and parental variables were formed from the fifth to seventh wave data. On these variables, correlations, means, and standard deviations were calculated using SPSS, and then, unconditional linear growth model using Mplus was applied. First finding was that young children’s problem behaviors were positively correlated with their negative emotionality, while such behaviors were negatively correlated with their sociability, mothers’ employment and warm parenting behaviors. Secondly, young children’s problem behaviors tended to decrease as their ages increased. Thirdly, boys or young children with negative emotionality showed more problem behaviors. On the contrary, young children with higher sociability and warm-parenting mothers tended to show less problem behaviors.
