This study aims to suggest a patient-centered multi-bedroom module based on the revised medical law enforcement regulations, which allows patients to satisfy on safety, hygiene, comfort, and convenience of the residential environment. For this, case studies on patient’s room design in Korea and oversea were taken, and literature reviews were conducted to draw the important points that patients hoped to be changed in the patient’s room design. Based on the research, architectural plan for multi-bedroom was planned, and the results were as follows : 1) To improve comfortability, layout was planned to get every patients a window for their own. 2) Planned variable space by using sliding doors which may improve privacy and give patients to conrol social contact. 3) Small hall was planned to be used as a resting place for families. 4) Separated bathrooms for patients and families to improve hygiene and convenience. Other types of rooms that using extra spaces are also suggested, such as Storage Type, Nursing Area Type.
