This study is the basic data for the workplace childcare facility space that supports the balanced development of children by applying the Reggio Emilia educational environment theory. The Reggio Emilia approach supports the formation of a new culture through the sense and recognition of the child"s own self in space and leads to voluntary learning and creative action. To this end, the child, the teacher, and the parent support the education with a single goal. The education space is designated as the third teacher, which means the importance of space. This is an interesting education with active involvement centered on children rather than traditional theme-centered and unit-centered education. As a regio educational environment element that supports this, spatial recognition, horizontality, deformability, flexibility, extensibility, mutuality, transparency, and communication elements are applied to the space to form a differentiated space from existing childcare facilities. It can be divided into atelier space, piazza space, play constructive, and main entrance, and has a characteristic of learning emotional social learning from this space along with cognitive development. Reggio Emilia Educational Environment Theory, together with the characteristics of educational space, is proposed as a reference for the development of daycare facilities by presenting the space based on the childcare facilities based on them.
