Objectives: The purpose of this article was to analyze the change of health problems, academic impacts, health behaviors among university students, and it suggested health promotion strategies for university students on campus. Methods: Using the results of the ACHA-NCHA from 2009 to 2016, 2011 KUHS and 2011 KHNS, we analyzed the trend of academic impacts and the difference of health behaviors among university students. It suggested the health index and campus strategies in systematic literature review. Results: Major academic impacts among university students were allergy, anxiety and sleep difficulties. It suggested that the health index for the university health survey were general health, disease and injury prevention, academic impacts, violence, personal safety, tobacco, alcohol, sexual behavior, nutrition, exercise, mental health, sleep, and injury. Key challenges highlighted at the university health included campus communities coalition, assessment of campus needs and assets, health plan, evidence-based healthy campus policies and programs, partnership with community resources, multi-disciplinary teams, regulation, network and support system on campus, development of health skills, customized service using ICT and quality improvement. Conclusions: It emphasizes that ongoing health data-collection on campuses and effective strategies can contribute to the setting of health objectives and the building of healthy campus.
