This paper empirically examines whether there are some significant relationships and differences in Korean student`s understanding the EU according to the learning objectives and motives or not. The main results and findings are summarized as below. The results of the statistical tests revealed that about 90% of Korean student`s respondents know the EU, Europe and EURO. Second, about 87% of Korean student`s respondents replied that the EU classes are useful and Korean students wanted to have more experiences in the EU cultures associated with EU class. Third, there are some relationships among the understanding the EU, the learning objectives and motives, searching for jobs and studying in the EU, and the recognitions on Korea-EU FTA`s contribution and EU`s contribution. Fourth, ANOVA shows that there exist some relations among Korea-EU FTA`s contribution to Korean economy, EU`s and EURO`s contributions to the world economy, studying in the EU and understanding the EU and world.
