Currently many companies producing plastic parts of car consume time to detect the defectives. They also just depend on eyesight of engineer whenever they try to inspect the defectives. In this paper, we will study and suggest the image processing system which can inspect the scratch of the plastic parts in place of human eyesight. Currently, various type of car model have been released depending upon the needs of customer. Plastic parts for the car are developing in various shapes, and become more complicated in their manufacturing procedure. Inspection equipment is also needed for the reduction of defective plastic products. However, it is difficult to make automatic inspection system of plastic parts, most of them are depending on eyesight of engineer. Thus we try to develop automatic inspection system via vision system that can detect the defects of plastic products. This vision based inspection system can detect various type of defects on plastic products of cars and can improve the manufacturing process to reduce defect rate after analyzing data that caused the defect. We will study the defect detection algorithm thru monitoring vision system and develop the defect detection system for the plastic products.
