This study conducted a correlation analysis between body composition and isokinetic function, isokinetic function and bone density of middle-aged female and young female in order to prevent osteoporosis of middle-aged female.
As for the result of correlation analysis between body composition and isokinetic function, the stretch of muscle power and age showed negative correlation(p<.01)(p<.05), and hamstring also showed negative correlation but the difference was insignificant. Maximum muscular strength of left flexor showed significant correlation with weight, body fat and basal metabolic rate(p<.01), while the maximum muscular strength of right flexor showed significant correlation with weight(p<.01), body fat and basal metabolic rate(p<.05). Also, angular velocity 180°/sec left protractor muscle power weight, body fat, basal metabolic rate(p<.01) and angular velocity 180°/sec right protractor muscle power showed significant correlation with weight(p<.05). Left flexor muscle power showed significant correlation with weight, skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate(p<.01) while right side showed significant correlation with weight(p<.01), skeletal muscle mass, basal metabolic rate(p<.05). As for the correlation analysis of bone density and isokinetic function, left and right of angular velocity 180°/sec flexor muscle power showed significant correlation(p<.05) with caput osis femoris. This indicates the aging of female reduces muscle strength, power and bone density. Therefore, health care for aging female is urgent, and in order to prevent decrease of bone density and bone health management, there is a need to conduct not only the extensor muscle exercise, but also the exercise program for muscle strength and power of hamstring.
