Being a woman is a big responsibility. Because women have to endure physical pain, in the case of deprivation of virginity and parturition, a woman experiences a moral pain when taking care of the family in raising children, caring for her husband, children and whims of her husband, etc. She has to include all of the functions for the welfare of her family.
Many Kyrgyz women earn by their labor outside of our country, in order to feed their families, buy plots of land, build homes, even the buy a car to husbands, that they do not go on foot, buy smart phones that they have been connected. Yes, such cases are very often you can find. But often woman’s effort does not appreciate. There is a saying "Ayal zhakshy er zhakshy, Wazir Khan zhakshy", the meaning of this phrase means is that if a man is not dressed handsomely and not neat and tidy, it means a bad wife. All this conversation ends. No one asks or is interested in the position of women in the family, even taking into account the Muslim Shariah, is carry out a husband his duties before his family, his wife.
Not only in the traditions and customs are infringed upon rights of women in Kyrgyzstan, but also in other aspects. For example, when a child is born in the family, husband’s sibling and husbands take the birth happily of a boy than a girl. The reason for this is clear. The boy is a successor of genus. And a girl grows up and leaves home. For her is not necessary to study at higher education institutions, not necessarily to get a piece of land, even though she has the full eligible for it. It is not uncommon when parents are limited to the preparation of a dowry for a daughter, instead of investing in her education.
Often girls are not often being born, exposed the infringement of their rights, after the birth are considered to be the weaker sex, and when they grow up, exposed bride kidnapping or fail to marry and do not have from native people support, as a girl after marriage is considered to be a member of another family, and she should not show her concerns to family or relatives.
After making changes to the legislation on criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, at 100% of the cases of bride kidnapping is not reduced. This crime still occurs in rural areas, is not noticeable, accompanied by corruption in the judicial proceedings. Therefore, for the total eradication of this problem, we have to develop other methods to promote women"s rights in our country.
