The purpose of this study is to restructure a pastoral care and counseling model for a child in family crisis. To make it work in Korean context, the study thoroughly analyzes both ‘The Living Human Web’ by Bonnie Miller-McLemore its actualized concept, which is more practical and feasible, called ‘Weaving the Web’ by Pamela D. Couture and readjusts them. The ‘Web’, which is used in this concept, is not a one-dimensional thing like the ‘document.’ It is a concept, which contains family, community, and cultural context dynamically. Through a pastoral care and counseling model, which is formed by critical analysis of this ‘Web’ concept, this study will suggest a possibility of transformation for a child, whose life is in a family crisis. In addition, this study will propose the “Weaving, We Being” play program based on this methodology. To verify whether this program is practically applicable or not, it has applied to a child S, who is in family crisis and has examined its availability as pastoral care and counseling model, which this study has aimed for.
