This study aims to develop a teaching & learning instruction in the subject, ‘Scalp & Hair Care and Customer Service’, by applying team assisted individualization(TAI) to raise talented individuals with practical skills and good character. As for the developing process, First, in the analysis stage, the subject of ‘Scalp & Hair Care and Customer Service’ was analyzed through environmental analysis and demand analysis. Second, in the design stage, learning goal and the contents of learning were set up, teaching method was selected, and evaluation tools and TAI teaching & learning model were designed. Third, based on this, cooperative learning TAI model was applied in the development stage and a teaching & learning instruction was developed for the class, ‘Scalp & Hair Care and Customer Service’. Study materials and evaluation method were made and structured so that the instruction will follow the class procedure of TAI model and be appropriate for the class, ‘Scalp & Hair Care and Customer Service’. It is expected that if the teaching & learning instruction of this study is actually applied to the class of ‘Scalp & Hair Care and Customer Service’, it will be helpful for the learning and teaching of students and teachers. Also, if TAI is used in other practical subjects, it is thought to bring the effect of improving learning environment. It is believed that teachers should move a step forward from using the model of direct teaching and should study on TAI multilaterally.
