Based on collected survey questionnaires, this article examines how Joseonjok married immigrant women perceive the Korean culture and provides the most efficient teaching methods in education to help them successfully settle down in the Korean society. Main findings of this research are as follows: first, the emphasis on the importance of learning the Korean culture through education in Korea has not been efficient nor the educational programs systemically organized; second, applying a variety of teaching methods such as the use of audio-video educational programs and the employment of language practice in cultural education coursework is more useful and constructive; and third, offering educational programs which compare the Korean culture with the Chinese one is more helpful for them not only to understand and learn the Korean culture but to mitigate cultural shock.
