The research was conducted on 193 infants and 193 their parents. The object of this study is to analyze changing mode of basic life habit, athletic ability and temperament according to early childhood physical growth. The results are as follows. First, in respect of the characteristics of physical growth, 4 year old infants tend to sort into leptosome type. 5 year old infants tend to sort into normal type. 6 year old infants tend to sort into overweight type. In short, as the infants grow older, they are more likely to become obese. Secondly, this paper attempts to analyze basic life habit according to degree of obesity. As a result, difference in [bedtime] and [hours of sleep] are statistically significant. This research revealed that obese infants are apt to have a habit of staying up late, so their hours of sleep is not enough. Thirdly, the study found a correlation between avoidant personality trait and childhood obesity. We can judge that obese infants tend to emerge avoidant personality trait which is caused by stress. Fourthly, the research measured athletic ability according to degree of obesity. [Power-Standing Long Jump] and [Balance-One-Leg Standing] out of athletic ability are statistically significant. Tests have shown that normal infants generally is more adaptable than leptosome type.
