The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the acute supplementation of L-Carnitine and glutamine on blood ammonia, lactic acid and muscle fatigue during arm ergometer exercise. All thirteen healthy students (soccer player) belongs to department of sports science volunteered for this study. Right after arm ergometer exercise during exhaustion at 10 Watt allowed to each subject. These subjects were classified into three groups, L-Carnitine ingesting (n=13), Glutamine ingesting (n=13), mixed ingesting (n=13). Statistical analyses were performed using SAS for windows All data were presented as mean±standard deviation. The measurement in this study were per-exercise, post-exercise, 30min-recovery and 60min-recovery. The effects of blood ammonia and lactic variables were calculated by mixed two-way ANOVA with Bonfenoni`s post-hoc test. In addition, the effects of muscle fatigue were computed by one-way ANOVA with Turkey`s post-hoc test. The 5% level of significance in the study were used as the critical level to accept hypotheses. Based on the finding of the study, the following conclusion has been obtained. First, the change of blood lactic acid showed significantly difference between times and groups(p=.000). Second, the change of blood ammonia showed significantly difference to times and groups(p=.007). In addition, the results of Post-hoc showed significantly to group of mixed ingesting. Third, the change of muscle fatigue were a decrease difference to group of mixed.
