This study, both examining 8 health-related physical fitness variables and 7 physiological variables out a group the 39 adult females( age range. 35-39) and analyzing their health-related physical fitness age(HFA) and physiological age(PA) using principle component analysis. The adult females whom I selected for this were: 19 members, of aerobic dancing club who has exercised about 3-6 months-more than 1 hour a day and more than 4 days a week: the 20 housewife females of non-exercising group. Besides, this study investigated the difference in their health-related physical fitness variables and physiological variables between the group which exercised regularly and continuously, and the non-exercising group. The results were as follows 1. All health-related physical fitness variables and Expect for Tg, the rest physiological variables between the exercising group and the non-exercising group showed statistically significant difference(p$lt;.05). 2. In HFA, the exercising group was estimated 36.45 years old and the non-exercising group 38.52, and compared with their chronological age, the former was about 0.6 years younger and the latter 1.3. 3. In PA, the exercising group was estimated 35.78 years old and the non-exercising group 37.71, and compared with their chronological age, the former was about 1.3 years younger and the later 0.5. 4. The gap in HFA and PA between the exercising group and the non-exercising group showed significant difference: the exercising group compared with the non-exercising group, was estimated about 2 years younger in HFA and PA. As shown above, the adult females(35-39). who has exercised regularly, were higher in their health-related physical fitness and physiological state but lower in both HFA and PA than the non-exercising group. Thus. I find that a regular exercise delays aging and prolongs life span.
