Report Errors
Revolution, which causes the new technology and the new view of world, results in the change of location perception. In addition, whenever each industrial revolution occurred, the perception of spatial location is different. Hence, this study draws the location perception in the process of the evolution of the industrial evolution based on the certain criteria, and sheds light on the future direction of the Location Intelligence. In order to achieve the objective of this research, the range is limited to the location perception in the period of each industrial revolution. In addition, the research was conducted through collecting the primary and secondary data by literature review and internet research, and a descriptive and systematic approach method was applied concurrently. Conclusion of the study is as follow: the location intelligence and industrial revolution are reviewed in terms of location perception and changes, foundation of industrial revolution and literature review and framework. The change of paradigm of location perception was investigated based on the first industrial revolution, the second industrial revolution, and the third and fourth industrial revolution. The future direction of location intelligence was examined from the perspectives of the correspondence of location intelligence of the fourth industrial revolution and its confrontation strategy.
