This article reviews the case of urban-to-rural migrants in Yongsan-myeon, Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do as their experience and life and in terms of the alternative movement experiments. The alternative movement rejects the current ruling system and the dominant life style. Yet, expand the extension to experiment with different life style and accept diversity and difference among members internally. This is also going to make a voluntary and autonomically participation, autonomous operation and horizontal network. Research participants in this article are moved to rural areas and created an open community space for communications and networks such as alternative market, town newspaper and common workplace. Furthermore, people seek a new relationship and change between themselves and their neighbors. Especially, alternative market is an open community space as well as the field that practice subsistence and sharing life nor the profits. Also, it against inclusion of a global neoliberal order and growth ideology. It points, however, to co-parenting movement and appropriate technology movement that is oriented to regional and ecological value. Their practice have had a ripple effect starting from their own need and desire in everyday life to internal institution and other local even though it has been made outside of the institutional sphere.
