The times of Renaissance, Baroco and Rococo which is referred to as modern times charged from the manual industry of characteristic of Guild System with agriculture to the manual industry of factory system. And,religious war and Thirty Years War that the ruling class of whole Europe conducted a war and plunder in a melee broke out. Through this stream, absolutism power and absolutism nation appeared, and the formation of unific inland market was made. The 16th century is the time of impulse which aroused this power, and the 17th and 18th centuries were the absolutism times. The beauty of costume is premised on the human beings to wear them. So, the beauty of costume may be referred to as the beauty of eroticism. The eroticism to belong to the instinct of human beings is rooting in mythology, custom, religion and art deeply. And, in thecostume also, eroticism is expressed consciously or unconsciously. But, the method that the eroticism is expressed appears according to time or culture or individual. So, this researcher tries to give help to a little more right understanding for the costume of eroticism which can be seen most tin modern society, by examining the eroticism which appeared in costume centering around the modern times when the center of human beings started to sprout. In this thesis, this researcher examined the feature of eroticism of costume which appeared in painting by arranging the time background and the concept of eroticism and studying the eroticism which expressed in the body and thecostume of the time respectively through literature and painting data. Especially, this researcher tries to examine how the eroticism was expressed centering around the sexual expression which appeared in the costume of women.
