The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect verification of Aerobic · Resistance Exercise & Diet Control Program for Body Shaping(weight & figure control · physical fitness promotion) on weight, body composition, physical fitness, and figure control. Research subjects were composed of 32 students in ‘A’, ‘K’, ‘H’, ‘M’, ‘S’ university of Gyeonggi Area who have take a health related cultural sports course. They were divided into two types of groups; female group(n=14) and male group(n=18). Observation variable was pre, 10weeks test in two time, body composition test was body weight, muscle mass, body fat mass, body fat percent, WHR(waist hip ratio), BMI(body mass index) and girth of body test was chest, waist, hip, arm(upper arm, forearm), leg(thigh, calf) and skin thickness test was triceps, sub scapular, abdominal, supra iliac, thigh(anterior, posterior) and physical fitness test was muscle strength(grip), muscle endurance(sit-up), Cardiorespiratory fitness(step test; physical efficiency index=PEI), flexibility (sitting trunk forward flexion). One-way ANOVA with repeated measure were used for analyzing the data. In conclusion, it could be know the positive effects of aerobic · resistance exercise & diet control program for body shaping(weight & figure control · physical fitness promotion) through improvement of weight and body composition, girth of body, skin thickness and physical fitness factor in female and male university students who have take a health related cultural sports course.
