Feng Shui theories have been actively applied as a planning theory of traditional housing, however the theory is very little utilized for modern housing. This study was conducted to obtain needed materials for finding ways that can be used as using Feng Shui theory as a framework for modern housing planning. Using five (5) modern homes as the subjects, after evaluating the current living environment based on the Yang Zhai theory, environmental improvement has been done on the unpleasant elements per Fung Shui theory. As a result, it was determined that the environmental improvement has resulted in positive effect on the health of the residents.
