The purpose of this paper was to find the developmental and supplying direction of User-charged senior housing by the Baby boomer’s awareness and preferences. Social survey research using questionnaire was conducted among the Baby boomer living in Seoul metropolitan area from October 31<SUP>st</SUP> to November 9<SUP>th</SUP>, 2012. 105 data were analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 20.0 program.
Major findings were as follows : 1) Most of the people were aware of User-charged Senior Housing. 2) Preferences of Baby Boomers at present life was single detached house type(45.7%), urban and suburban living(41.9%), ‘Convenient and Comfort" factor was preferred than others. 3) Preferences about User-charged senior housing were as followings. Low-rise housing(41.9%), permanent-lease(30.5%), service program(34.3%)and urban and suburban area(50.5%).
In conclusion, for increasing demand of User-charged senior housing, government and related corporations should recognize vital duties to take care of "Silver industry" for social and national welfare.
