According to the stream of times, the meaning of urban rehabilitation is growing socially. By area own efforts, the urban rehabilitation to revitalize the area decline through the reinforcement of the community capacity has been developing. Especially, the decline area vitalization through art vehicle has a very important role in the urban rehabilitation.
This study analyzed on relationship between change of community spirit and the urban rehabilitation program using art vehicle in Sajik 2dong, cheongju. The rehabilitation through art and culture vehicle raised substantially the public’s consciousness, influenced to increase the level of closeness of the residents. We can figure out that the urban rehabilitation program through art vehicle contributed to the social and cultural urban rehabilitation parts by the residents being involved with program.
But this study was limited to non-physical elements. So the follw up study is hoped that physical elements will be included.
