Tense system plays an important part in a language. Natural language has only two-tense system, past and future. But Plato and Aristotle erroneously established present tense. That`s a great mistake. All the languages in the world have followed suit and have three tenses, past, present and future. Because of the error, grammars of all the languages, including English, are in great dilemma, and don`t have clear distinction between present and future tenses. We wrongly think that present tense indicates present time and, at the same time, future time. As a result, today`s English grammar has a lot of problems to be solved. For an example, there is no clear distinction between indicative and subjunctive moods. We wrongly think that subjunctive future is indicative future. This paper will solve this and other problems. We will know that English has two-tense system in its indicative and subjunctive moods, respectively.
