The main purpose of this article is to figure out whether it is possible to characterize Sartre as a ‘philosopher of everydayness’, paying attention to the ‘Red Devils’, nickname of the Korean national soccer team"s supporters which meet at the Place of Seoul City Hall during the 2002 World Cup. At first sight, it is unthinkable to parallel Sartre to the ‘Red Devils’, since he died in 1980. But there are two elements that justify this work. Sartre was often interested in the everydayness in his philosophical works. The waiter we see in Being and Nothingness and a waiting bus users we see in the Critique of Dialectical Reason are good examples. And he explained a ‘groupe organisé’ through the football team. However, what attracts our attention in an attempt to parallel Sartre to the ‘Red Devils’ is that this group can be considered as a ‘groupe en fusion’. This group is explained by the formation of the ‘We’, the ubiquity, the assumption of the common enemy and the praxis. And this group can be transformed into ‘série’. This also applies to the ‘Red Devils’. It is precisely in this sense that we can qualify Sartre as a ‘philosopher of everydayness’.
