This study is aimed at introducing the Mulmyeonggwal possessed by the Toyo Bunko in Japan and looking into the characteristics and value of this material. In respect of this, this study ascertained the historical evidence of the compiler(s) of the Dasan Jeong Yak-yong`s Mulmueonggo style which hasn`t been systematically organized up to now. As a result, this study managed to unearth that fact that the Jukran Mulmueonggo and Cheonggwan Mulmueonggo, whose author has been known as the same person, are the book written by Dasan and his son - Jeong Hak-gyu, respectively. Further, this study made it clear that the Mulmyeonggwal collected by the ToyoBunko was the transcription from Jukran Mulmueonggo compiled by Jeong Yak-yong. There are 1,469 words recorded in the Mulmyeonggwal possessed by the ToyoBunko, and the Chinese characters (Sino-Korean words) and their corresponding words included in the Mulmyeonggwal are of big help to the study of Mulmueonggo of early modern times. This book included not many words enough to be called a dictionary, but it`s a precious as the reference data for understanding the actual conditions of the usage of Sino-Korean words before the influx of Japanese Chinese words, and the lexical history of Korean words.
