중학생은 신체적 정신적 변화가 많으므로, 의복태도 성향에 따라 중학생 집단 간에도 의복과 교복 태도에 많은 차이점이 있다고 본다. 그러므로 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 본다. 본 연구에서는 경남지역 중학생의 집단별 의복태도와 교복착용 태도를 분석함으로써, 집단별 의복성향이 고려된 의복과 교복의 마케팅 분야의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. 연구방법은 경남소재 중학생 572명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 통계 분석은 SPSS for Window 14.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중응답분석, ANOVA, Duncan 사후 검정, 군집분석 방법을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 경남지역 중학생 집단별 의복태도와 교복착용 태도를 알아보기 위해 먼저, 의복태도의 집단별 유형화를 실시한다. 다음으로 인구통계적 특성에 따른 집단별 의복태도 성향을 알아보며, 의복태도에 따른 교복착용에 대한 인식의 차이 및 착용태도를 알아본다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 정숙성, 심미성, 동조성, 개성, 경제성의 5개로 분류된, 중학생의 의복태도에 대한 군집분석 결과, 개성/심미성, 패션관심, 정숙성, 패션무관심 집단으로 도출되었다. 집단간에 인구통계적 특성에 따른 의복태도 성향의 차이를 알아본 결과, 의복태도의 요인에 따라 나눈 4개의 집단 간에는 성별, 학교형태, 용돈에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 의복태도 성향에 따른 분류된 4개의 집단에 따라서 교복착용인식의 차이를 분석한 결과, 안정성, 관리성, 심미성 모두 의복태도 성향에 따라 차이가 있었다. 중학생 집단별 의복태도 성향에 따른 교복착용 태도의 차이를 알아본 결과, 교복착용 찬성정도, 외출시 교복착용 횟수, 교복구입시 유명브랜드 선호경향, 교복변형 경험, 교복 변형에 대한 생각, 교복변형 이유에서 차이가 있었다.
Middle school students experience much physical and psychological changes, so it is supposed that there may be a great deal of differences in attitude toward clothing and school uniform among groups of middle school students depending on their propensity of clothing attitude. This study, by making an analysis on the attitude of middle school students in Gyeongnam province toward clothing and wearing school uniform by groups, aims to provide preliminary data in the field of school uniform and marketing that clothing propensity by groups is considered. This study conducted a survey targeting 572 middle school students in Gyeongnam. For statistical analysis, SPSS for Window 14.0 was used for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple sponse analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA analysis and Duncan`s ex-post analysis method. This study first implements classification of clothing attitude by groups. Following the foregoing, this study looks into the propensity of clothing attitude by groups according to demographic characteristics and investigates the difference in perception and wearing attitude toward wearing school uniform according to their clothing attitude. The results of the study were as follows. As a result of cluster analysis on the clothing attitude, students were divided into individuality/aesthetic group, fashion interest group, modesty group, fashion indifference group. As a result of investigation on the difference in propensity of clothing attitude depending on demographic characteristics among four groups which were classified by the factors of middle school students` clothing attitude, this study revealed that groups bear no resemblance in gender, school type and pocket money. As a result of verification on the difference in perception toward wearing school uniform by groups which were classified according to the propensity of clothing attitude, stability, manageability and aesthetics were all varied according to the propensity of clothing attitude. As a result of investigation on the attitude toward wearing school uniform depending on the propensity of clothing attitude by groups, this study revealed that the degree of consent to wearing school uniform, frequency of wearing school uniform when going out, tendency to prefer famous brand when purchasing school uniform, experience of transforming school uniform, idea about transformation of school uniform and reason for transformation of school uniform were distinguished from each other.
