This study was to analyse the visual information effects of newspaper`s editing delivered to readers which was conversed into digital owing to the change of media environment. To accomplish this purpose I investigated with questionnaires made by two patterns of newspapers. They were `the present general newspaper` and `the specially made newspaper reinforced with graphic`. As the result of this, there were shown higher answers for the general newspaper, This results can be explained by the Gestalt psychology theory which has the premise that simple thing is apt to remain longer. When seeing the results of this study, therefore, we can say that the importance of editorial design is to make it simple and easy with familiar surface. As the newspaper is not a temporary visual media which catches reader`s eyes at a moment so we must accept that it is not sufficient for the media to bet on image beauty. Rather it has to stress on the reliability and information delivery with the faithful contents. I hope that the data from this study will suggest efficient direction for editorial design so as to be a foundation for the study on newspaper related with visual effect. And also as this study will provide practical workers with basic frame on newspaper`s editorial design and offer actual contribution to those area.
