A human being existed as a part of pure nature for a long time. However, as the industrial age began, we disregarded the ecosystem of the earth, and developed ourselves only to make the world more prosperous and convenient. The excessive consumption after the 18C industrial revolution accelerated environmental desolation such as drying up the natural resources, waste of energy, and junk disposals. Consequently it posed serious environmental problems on air, water, and soil as well as the destruction of ozone layer. "It might be rare that causes more harmful influence on our environment than Industrial Design" Without recognition of this Victor Papanek`s critique, it is inevitable truth that this irresponsible design have directly or indirectly resulted the environmental demolition of the earth. On this paper, I present variation steps of production process that has actual capability of the protection of environment in the field of Visual Design, and suggest practical device in the field of environment-friendly Visual Design that enables coexistence of supplies, consumer, and the environment. Recently, the domestic Visual Design Industry adopted environment-friendly design methodology such as using partially recyclable paper and reusing of packing paper. However, it`s regarded absolutely unsatisfying plan for rapidly devastating environment of the earth. The purpose of this study is to present efficient environment-friendly method of approach for a future visual design industry. As a research, I compared the environmental aspect of both handmade and digitized operations in Visual Design industry, and analyzed the relations between environment and visual design from the contemporary digitizing point of view.
