The purpose of this study is to make a critical observation on the theological language of the historical Jesus for an eco-theological discussion, using the early Jesus tradition. This study has a great regard for the following two things: (1) recent North American scholarship on Jesus` aphorisms and parables on the one hand, and (2) the oriental way of thinking on the other, the organic harmony of three realities, Heaven·Earth·Human (天地人三才), as the constructive principle of Korean culture. This study will stress on the fact that when Jesus explores the Kingdom of God through aphorisms and parables he has recourse to reflections on human experience and observations on nature. Thus Jesus` theology, if we can call it in this way, is the ``theology of experiences`` and the ``theology of nature.`` This study will also critically observe how for Jesus the heaven (the Kingdom of God) came to the earth and God to human beings. This study will suggest a new model of parabolic interpretation: shifting viewpoint from God to human beings, human beings to nature.
