The goal of this research is twofold: Firstly, to investigate through the scientific method the pastoral procedure known as the ``planting church self-support cycle,`` especially the ``church planting schedule according to the self-support cycle.`` My aim is to explore the procedure necessary for an ordinary church planter to establish a new church in a common area, and to nurture its growth from a fledgling church to an fully established church. Lastly we aim to provide the results of this investigation. It is discovered that the Planting Church Life Cycle(PCLC) is five years, and Church Life Cycle(CLC) is twenty years. The criterion of the self-support of a church is the following: (1) the monthly collections is 1,600,000 won, (2) the yearly collections is 20,000,000 won, and (3) the attendance is between 36-45 members. When a church meets these conditions, it is regarded as a self-supporting church. In order for a newly established church to grow and become a self-supporting church, it needs to start from the primary stage of the ``Planting Design Stage.`` It is desirable that when the new church begins, it should start with more than 4 members, grow up to more than 10 members in 6 months, and then have more than 15 members in its first year. This should grow to: 20 members in 2 years, more than 25 members in 4 years, and more than 28 members in 5 years. On the one hand, according to growth influence factors related to the prechurch planting method, in the maturing period the following things are important: ``planting`` funds (the funds for start-up money), individual financing, the state of the possession of the church building, area research items, local religious situations, population growth situations, and lay people`s participation as organizing members. On the other hand, in the growing period of the church (from six months to twelve months) the following elements are important: the rate of new converts, the age group between 41 and 50 of church members, fundraising, the distinction of sex, age, pastor`s pastoral career and spirituality. In the maturing period (one year to three years), the following are important: fundraising and pastor`s pastoral career. In conclusion, a newly established church needs to shift away from thetraditional paradigm that has been focused towards the quantitative growth, and to focus on the qualitative spiritual growth of the parishioners. This is to foster the church members` development as God`s faithful saints, and, in turn, the church can fulfill its financial self-support through their devotions.
