The main purpose of this study is to examine and describe the wide structural changes of the Korean church was brought by Korean War. For this, I treated four important themes- the changes of the regional structure in denominations, the shift of leadership in the Korean church, the strength of a conventional faith and anti-communist ideology and the appearance of new organization, and the advent of various sects and heresies and the depth of religious market situation - and investigated how those affected radical changes of the Korean church after Korean War. Above all, Korean War collapsed the denominational boundaries of the missionary area in Korea. One of principal reasons that such phenomenon had brought was due to Christians coming South from North Korea that had spread all over the country. In the process of that, especially the Methodist Church experienced a remarkable growth in three - south province - Pusan, Kyungnam, and Chulla. Second, Korea Church suffered the heavy damage of life and property from Korean War. Especially, many prominent leaders in Korean church were kidnapped to North Korea and it occurred to the absent state of the leadership. As a result of that, the Korean Church was thrown into confusion and it was continued divisions in the Korean Church. Also it gave one opportunity to retired leaders from active work return to prewar condition. Third, Korean War reinforced more the conventional faith and anti-communist ideology of the Korean church. Because many christians experienced the cruel reality of communists in North Korea came South from there and South Korea christians also experienced the cruel and brutal reality of communists throughout Korean War. In the process of reinforcement of already related styles, a unique organization named as `MangMyungNohoi` (an exiled presbytery) or `MuChiyoukNohoi` (a presbytery without regional foundation) was formatted. Finally, Korean War devastated almost all country and caused a mental and psychological panic to Korean peoples. But the established Korean church was incapable of healing such hurts and pains of peoples totally. Watching for that chance, many new sects, pseudo-religions, and heresies appeared and threaten an established traditional church. And besides they more intensified existing religious marketplace situations.
