This paper has examined the influence of Su-shi" literature theory on Goryeo literary artists, and have found out that Lee in-ro, Im Chun, Lee Gyu-bo, Choi Ja, Lee Je-hyun, Lee Saek, and Gwon Geun had actively accepted poetry and prose of Su-shi through their major poetries and prose. They approved of "poetry and painting being one," the concept of Su-shi, and insisted on natural creations. It can be summarized as that a poet or a painter shall let meanings come in spontaneously instead of forcing them when one creates poetry and painting, shall not think of painting with disdain, paintings shall contain implications in the same sense as poetries, and lastly, these are not taught from books but learned on one"s own. We were able to discover that Im Chum had wholeheartedly accepted the natural creation theory of Su-shi through his depiction of wild goose painting. Also, among the Goryeo literary artists" process of accepting Su-shi poetry, the logics of Choi Ja, which contradicts those of Lee In-ro and Lee Gyu-bo, leaves us with a question of the fine line between being influenced and plagiarism. According to Choi Ja"s theory, Lee In-ro did not stop at emulating but plagiarized Su-shi" poetry while Lee Gyu-bo created a new style by accepting Su-shi" poetry. Lee Je-hyun thought poetry and painting are different only in their forms and shared a same artistic origin. Lee Sack actively accepted self-cultivation theory of Su-shi and emphasized "self-learning." Gwon Geun accepted Su-shi" poetry and natural creation theory and emphasized that creation shall be natural and spontaneous. All these Goryeo literary artists admired and emulated Su-shi, and his concept of "poetry and painting being one" and natural creation were accepted by default.
