This purpose of this study was domestic professional baseball ticket prices for the price elasticity of demand and supply price elasticities of derived demand, according to the degree of change in ticket prices. Simulated by calculating the price elasticity of supply of the professional baseball industry has been the introduction of competition in the ticket effective when the goal is to present pricing system. To this end, eight local club`s Web site and the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) is published in the Korea Baseball Almanac, and based on domestic research papers from the 2007 season, the data were collected through the 2010 season. Ticket prices, demand and supply in order to analyze the relationship between market demand and supply function and demand and supply, use, price changes were examined for the price of goods for the amount of the rate of change of the price elasticity calculated as follows the following conclusions were drawn. First, the price elasticity of demand for each of the calculated results of nine Samsung, Doosan, Lotte, KIA, Hanwha price elasticity of elastic emerged as SK, LG, Nexen inelastic price elasticity of inelastic are represented by consequently. Second, the price elasticity of supply of each was produced nine SK, Samsung, Doosan, Lotte, KIA, LG, Nexen, Hanwha inelastic price elasticity of inelastic respectively.
