The purpose of this study was examine the moderating role of visitors` nationality in the relation between sport event destination image and revisit intention. A total of 400 subjects including domestic and international visitors taking part in 2009 Chun Cheon World Leisure Pre Game from August 26 to 30 were selected using a convenient sampling method. 347 usable questionnaires were returned to the researchers. Data analyses including frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlaion analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and SEM with multiple group analysis were conducted with PASW Statistics 18. The results of this study indicated that (1) sport event service image had a significant impact on visitors` revisit intention, (2) sport event atmosphere image had a significant impact on visitors` revisit intention, (3) the impact of sport event service image on revisit intention was significantly stronger for the domestic visitors than international visitors, and (4) the impact of sport event atmosphere image on revisit intention was significantly stronger for the international visitors than domestic visitors. Additional implications and directions for future research were suggested.
