The purpose of this study is to determine gymnasts` expectations and perceptions regarding the service quality of gymnastic competitions. Specifically, differences in gymnasts` expectations and perceptions concerning competitions` main facility, supporting facility, environment, and events with respect to gymnasts` career, number of participated national and international competitions, and category. Subjects included 272 gymnasts who competed in the 2006 National Physical Education competition, and the instrument consisted of a questionnaire that was developed by modifying the questionnaire developed by kim(1997) to fit the purpose of this study. Data analyses consisted of utilizing SPSS 13.0 statistical package and employing one-way ANOVA and t-test. The following conclusions were made: 1. perceptions of supporting facility and expectations/perceptions of event statistically and significantly differ with respect to education, number of international competitions participated, and category. 2. There are no statistical and significant differences in gymnasts` expectations and perceptions regarding competitions` service quality with respect to age and career. 3. Except for wall positings, there is a statistical and significant difference between gymnasts` expectations and perceptions for all service items.
