The purpose of this study was to analyze relationships of sport participation status, social attitude and job satisfaction of city workers. 780 subjects in Seoul, Pusan, Inchon, Daejoen, Kwangju and Changwon answered questionnaires and the questionnaires of 752 subjects were used for this study. The results were as follows. 1. Sex and marital status were significantly related to continuous participation in sport activities. Male more continuously participated in sports activities than female. However %participation in sport activities was higher in female. Married persons more continuously participated in sport activities than unmarried persons and %participation in sport activities was higher in female than male. There were no significant differences in age, schooling, monthly income and jobs. 2. Continuous participation in sport activities was significantly related to social attitudes and job satisfaction of the city workers. Those who had participated in sport activities continuously had higher satisfaction with job and social attitudes than those who had not participated in sport activities continuously. 3. Periods of participation in sport activities was related to social attitudes while not related to job satisfaction. The longer participation in sport activities, the higher social attitudes. 4. The more clearly city workers knew the plans and the goals of their businesses and The higher their works were worth while to work, the higher satisfaction was observed in this study. 5. In the city worker who had participated in sport activities continuously, The higher sportsmanship formation and the fuller of life, the higher job satisfaction was observed in this study. The faster of adjustment in their jobs, the higher job satisfaction.
