This study is to classify the previous studies applied for Delphi technique and analyse an applied method of Delphi technique according to the purpose of study. When the Delphi technique is effectively applied to tourism fields, first of all, it is required that the previous studies related to the purpose of study be examined because of the existence of complexity of study contents. Secondly, a suggestion on objective standards with high reliability is required in eliminating an factor in the every round of Delphi technique. Thirdly, it is hopeful that an appropriately modified application will be needed according to the situation in conducting the Delphi technique. It is able to secure not only the objectivity but also the validity as a policy alternative. Lastly, to organize the professional panel in long term of study of tourism demand, it is necessary for other professionals except for tourism field; in the field of demography, psychology, sociology, economics, and others to be selected. Furthermore, Delphi technique will be a practical method to predict an uncertain future if a statistical approach method is complemented in selecting the professional panel.
