It has been over six years by now since KISTI started the Scent of Science service from July, 2003 for the popularization of the science and technology. The number of members has increased steadily to 240,000 people until now, the contents have grown in both the quality and quantity, and more diversity in the type of subscribers has been seen. We are trying to provide the columns that meet the expectations and tastes of the subscribers every year, but the demands of the subscribers are always getting diverse and changed. In order to understand the current degree of satisfaction and the new demands for the purpose of setting up the direction of the better service, survey was conducted for the Scent of Science members. This paper summarizes the part of the results of the survey, and the user degree of satisfaction and demand for the science and technology information contents service are analyzed. And the factors to consider for the planning of the service of the science and technology information content based on this survey are reviewed.
