This study has its purpose on predicting the change of lobby and outdoor space, excluding stage and seats, by paying attention to the possibility of improving services such as information about performance viewing, convenient ticketing, accommodation service and provision of theater information usable during times other than performance, to make it easy to approach various performances by increasing convenience, as the number of performance viewing increases and auditoriums as well as performance culture become diverse, according to the increment of leisure time and pastime.
As the application of ubiquitous technology to the lobby inside the grand theater of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts as well as outdoor space is suggested through this study, the people using auditorium become informed comfortably and can quickly gain information about performance viewing. Therefore, the space can be used diversely as the inconvenience experienced entering and exiting auditorium is simplified; one gets escorted quickly; and various ubiquitous services are provided at the lobby.
