This essay depicts an architectural landscape in Korea 2014, which seems both heated with passion, ambition, envy, anxiety and nervousness among young architects and fragmented into multiple incommensurable opinions especially in the circle of leading architects. It, therein, deals with a few diverse problems such as the rapid decrease of the number of architects on cultural architectural scenes according to agerelated stages, young architects award system, absence of public sphere, and jury system not just in architectural design competition but also in compulsory design consultation. Finally, it address problems of the inability of architectural scholars in the middle of those problems.
