The purpose of this study is to use Q Methodology regarded as able to understand subjective attributes over the subjects of sports-for-all instructors and sports instructors among non-regular physical education instructors, and so type their opinions about improving the treatment of non-regular physical education instructors, and analyze the characteristics by types, the differences between types, and the consensus items between types. The conclusions of this study were derived as follows. First, according to the results of analyzing the treatment improvement of non-regular physical education instructors, Type 1 was classified as ‘the type of pursuing employment stability’, and Type 2 was classified as ‘the type of pursuing complex values’, and Type 3 was classified as ‘the type of pursuing high wages’. Second, according to the results of analyzing the differences between types, between Type 1 and Type 2 and between Type 1 and Type 3, conflicting results were shown by changing instructor titles and introducing the compensation systems by performance in order to enhance specialty. Between Type 2 and Type 3, conflicting results were shown by establishing business scope and system and introducing wage systems such as job type wage and performance wage. Third, according to the results of analyzing the consensus items between types about the treatment improvement of non-regular physical education instructors, all the types showed the common opinion that it was necessary to convert non-regular workers to regular workers and indefinite contracts and reinforce the reeducation for enhancing specialty.
