The purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction among secondary physical educators. In order to meet this purpose, the following five subsequent research questions were analyzed and these were: 1) the contribution of background variables of secondary physical educators to job stress, 2) the contribution of background variables, job stress and social support of secondary physical educator to job satisfaction. 3) the difference of social support according to the level of secondary school teacher, 4) the difference of job stress according to the level of secondary school teacher, 5) the difference of job satisfaction according to secondary school teacher The subjects of this study were sampled 258 teachers using the stratified cluster random sampling. A questionnaire about job stress, social support, job satisfaction was based on the scale of domestic previous studies using D`Arienzo`s(1981) Modified Teacher Occupational Stress Factor Scale, House and Well`s(1978) Social Support Scale, and Kim`s(1987) Job satisfaction Scale. The methods of statistics used to analyze the collected data were multiple regression analysis and t-test . Results obtained from this research were as follows: 1. Background variables such as the level of position, teaching experience, and educational level influenced on job stress. 2. Background variables such as, teaching experience, educational level, job stress, and social support influenced on job satisfaction. 3. There was significant difference between executive support among jon stress`s subfactors and co-teacher. 4. There was significant difference in social support according to the level of secondary school teachers. 5. There was no significant in job satisfaction according to the level of secondary school teachers.
