Mobile phones(so-called “smartphone”) have been proliferated since they first appeared in the world. Such results, some of mobile services based on the phone have come to the forefront of two-sided markets. The purpose of this study is to verify what success factors are in shaping the two-sided market using fsQCA(fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis) focusing on eleven mobile service platform cases. Concretely, this study is aimed to find out necessary and sufficient conditions of the successful two-sided markets with mobile service platforms based on fsQCA. In the final analysis, this study can be seen the result of two phases. From the above results, there are the most significant practical implications. First, it has been analyzed that Kakaotalk(game) which is the representative for the Korean mobile service platform, still needs to hire more necessary and sufficient conditions to shape two-sided markets in global. Second, it has been also proved by the experiment that the domestic mobile services need another efforts and strategies in order to build the two-sided markets in global if domestic companies want to secure opportunities in overseas markets. In this study, the highly significant discovery is the first experiment for verification of success factors of mobile service platforms through the fsQCA in the nation.
