The purpose of this study was to identify the effective training methods for Judo players’ exercise of muscle by performing Heavy Weight training and Plyometric training to explore more effective training methods for Increase of Muscular Strength minimizing Muscular Demage and for Maintaining Muscle Strength and Recovery of Muscle Demage caused by two different training methods and Detraining. The participants were 30 Judo players living in B city and divided into Heavy Weight training Group with 9, Plyometric Group with 9, and Control Group with 8. They conducted Training 3 times in 12 weeks and Detraining for 4 weeks. Two-way ANOVA with repeated measure was conducted using Spss 18.0 Program for a data analysis. The result shows that CK increased significantly after Training in 2 groups completed exercise, decreased more significantly after Detraining than Training, and no significant difference was found between before training and after Detraining. In group difference, muscle damage marker was higher in Heavy Weight training Group and Plyometric Group than Control Group after training. Muscle strength of extensor-flexor at all joint significantly increased in both groups conducted training, and groups with both training methods maintained high muscle strength during the period of Detraining for 4 weeks in comparison with pretraining period.
