This study tries to explain the rapidly expanding phenomenon of income inequality in our society since the financial crisis, in terms of a deception of trickle-down effects and the government failure. The basic assumption of the analysis is that a recent rising suicide rate is closely related with the social inequality. Society we live in now is an anti-human right society that a reflection on life is missing and a winner-take-all society that the most upper class dominates a large portion of the total income. The company monopolizes the enormous profits obtained as a result of economic growth without sharing with workers. The trickle-down effect is simply a rhetoric or fraud to protect the structure of inequality. The government’s tax reduction policy comes back to the disastrous consequences such as slowing economic growth, strengthening of the level of inequality, and the expansion of the national debt. The redistribution policy to correct the inequality of market income is not able to perform properly. Neo-liberal capitalism, incompetent government, and violent companies are major suspects of social homicide and inequality. Therefore, the solution of social homicide problem is to eliminate the income inequality and the exclusive responsibility lies in the government that obsessed with the tax cuts and companies that had monopoly profits. More proactive role of government is required in the establishment of an active income maintenance system and construction of a progressive tax structure.
